Karen Anderson is a popular regular at Queensland jazz, soul, folk and blues venues, and has performed at many festivals in Australia including Woodford Folk Festival, Ladies Sing The Blues, Noosa Jazz Festival, Valley Jazz Festival and the Bay Of Islands Festival New Zealand. She was a solo vocalist for the Woodford Fire Event in 2004/2005.
